THE JEFF MATSON AWARD is for a person who has demonstrated the qualities that Jeff had: creativity, originality, mentoring, in the the fields of cabaret directing, creation, writing and/or design. The JEFF MATSON AWARD will be presented to Frank Dain, Editor in Chief of CABARET SCENES MAGAZINE. Frank has been a good friend for nearly all the 20 years of CABARET HOTLINE ONLINE, and we've known him as a performer, an artist, a web designer, a graphics designer, a cabaret writer, a cabaret editor and more.
Also being honored, with the DOTTIE BERMAN SONGWRITER AWARD, are songwriters LIZ McNAMARA and RITT HENN
As part of the festivities I will be singing a song from my upcoming Johnny Mathis show, accompanied by KATHLEEN LANDIS. But that's not all. Nineteen additional cabaret performers (that's twenty in all - one for each year Cabaret Hotline has been around) will entertain what is sure to be a sold-out audience.
